Two Hot Fiestas For This Year’s Climb

The Ford Fiesta isn’t on sale yet in North America, but that isn’t stopping a team of Swedes from bringing a pair of rallycross Fiestas to Colorado this summer to participate in the annual Pikes Peak International Hill Climb which is also known as The Race to the Clouds.

According to organizers, the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is the second oldest motor sports race in America and a long-standing tradition in Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak Region. First competed in 1916, this year marks its 87th running. This year, the race will be held on Sunday, July 19 with race-related events all week long. Fan Fest, is expected to welcome more than 35,000 participants and will be held on Friday, July 17 in downtown Colorado Springs from 5 to 10 p.m.
