Tiny Chevy comes packed with amenities.

Made in Korea
The Chevy Spark is being built in South Korea and is competing in a segment that was introduced to the United States in 2008 when the Smart Fortwo made its debut. Since then, the Fiat 500 and Scion iQ have also debuted, giving buyers more choice among A-segment models. The Fiat and Chevrolet, however, are the only models that seat four people. The Scion seats three and the Smart seats just two.
Model Choices
The Spark LS is the base model and like all Sparks is powered by a 1.2-liter four cylinder engine. This engine is paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The Spark LS features 15-inch alloy wheels, a 60/40 flip and fold rear seat and 10 airbags. This model also comes with stability control, traction control and brake assist.
Inside, the Spark LS comes with air conditioning and power windows are standard. A rear window wiper, an auxiliary input jack and OnStar Directions & Connections are included. OnStar comes with a six-month trial subscription.
Upgrade to the Spark 1LT and this model brings in a 7-inch color touch radio with Chevrolet MyLink, Bluetooth connectivity, a USB port and a 3-month trial SiriusXM satellite radio subscription. Remote keyless entry, power door locks, a theft deterrent system, power side mirrors, visor mirrors, floor mats and cruise control are added. The Spark 1LT starts at $14,495.
The top of the line Spark 2LT brings in features that are unusual for any small car, namely leatherette seating, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and heated front seats. This model also brings in special 15-inch alloy wheels, fog lamps and various embellishments to the body including silver painted roof rails, chrome touches and grille inserts. At $15,795, the Spark 2LT offers more equipment and for a lower price than many other small cars.
Available Options
GM has kept pricing simple with the Chevy Spark, offering just three options. An automatic transmission is available across the model line and can be had for $925. An engine block heater retails for $75 and if you want black granite paint, it will cost you an extra $195. Expect the aftermarket crowd to come up with a host of products ranging from body decaling to interior enhancements, allowing small car Chevy owners to add some “spark” to this diminutive car.
