Beginning today, Chrysler LLC will be rolling out an exceptionally good financing and cash back program for buyers of Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler vehicles. Unlike some programs, eligible buyers can get cash back and take low rate financing.

You got to hand it to the folks at Chrysler LLC. Fresh off of receiving an injection of cash from the federal government, the company has crafted a new auto financing scheme for buyers of Jeep, Dodge and Chrysler brand vehicles. Dubbed “Employee Pricing Plus Plus” the financing plan set to start today is one of the most generous ones out there.

Unlike some plans which force customers to choose between a cash rebate or low rate financing, the Chrysler LLC initiative allows eligible customers to choose both. Available options with Employee Pricing Plus Plus are as follows:

  • New vehicle customers receive employee price on all 2008 and 2009 Chrysler, Jeep(R) and Dodge vehicles
  • Customers also receive discounts of up to $3,500 on 2009 model year vehicles and $6,000 on 2008 model year vehicles
  • $1,000 consumer bonus cash is available on most models when financed at Chrysler Financial or local credit unions

“Chrysler is offering America the same pricing our employees receive through the new ‘Employee Pricing Plus Plus’ program with great savings off the Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price, plus cash discounts of up to $3,500 on 2009 models, plus zero percent financing through Chrysler Financial,” said Steven Landry, Executive Vice President – North American Sales, Marketing, Mopar Parts and Service. “With affordable financing available and some of the best pricing we have offered in recent months, this really is a great time to visit a Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge dealer.”

Only one vehicle, the Dodge Sprinter, is not eligible for this program.

Chrysler’s US sales plunged by 30% last year, the worst drop of all full line automobile manufacturers. The entire industry slipped by 18% in 2008 with 2009 expected to match last year’s performance. Just last week Chrysler and Fiat announced a non-binding agreement to collaborate on a number of projects.
